Mission
Over the years, I’ve served as a patrol officer, field training officer, detective, and supervisor. Along the way, I became a certified law enforcement general instructor and earned several highly regarded certifications.
Currently, I’m pursuing a master’s degree in international business while building my startup, BEAMRaiL. We’re a public safety AI startup with an incredible team and a shared goal of becoming the leading innovator in the industry while making a meaningful social impact.

My Why
I was born in the Bronx, New York. Before I could remember, my parents divorced, and my mom moved with me to North Carolina when I was just a year old. Despite that, I always felt more fortunate than most kids. Both of my parents remained present in my life, and I was raised by a loving and hardworking family. One pivotal moment profoundly influenced my career trajectory as a law enforcement officer and shaped how I view society.

In middle school, I witnessed one of my friends suddenly jump up and start punching a girl about ten times after she blurted out, in front of everyone, that his mom had killed his dad. It happened so fast I didn’t know how to react. Part of me thought, “She shouldn’t have said that,” but another part thought, “Man, you can’t do that.” I was torn between understanding why he snapped and knowing his actions weren’t acceptable.

By high school, his life had unraveled. At 17, he shot and killed someone during a fight and was sent to juvenile detention. At 21, he was gunned down and killed. I became a police officer to step in before things spiral to bring clarity and justice where systems often fail.
